What’s your mental illness?

Find HIM in the stillness

Draw near and HE draws near to bless

with willingness…

if you ask… -to give relief from grief and break chains that have you bound from outward stress

if you seek… -to find refreshing from fears threshing all around distress

if you knock… -to open the door to restore from agitations that drown and inward press

HE will soon provide your soul’s needed rest

To persevere in prayer for healing from anxieties that oppress

To make it up and out, through to the other side of darkness

To find hope and purpose arise from under life’s duress

Within HIS reach is peace of a sound mind to once again possess

Within HIS reach is peace of a pure heart to once again find more love rather than less and less

Within HIS reach is peace of a restored soul to once again enter into the light of the living acquiesce

Within HIS reach is a peace of a free spirit to once again soar from the nest awaiting Heaven’s address

So delight yourself in the LORD holding onto HIS rope of 3 chord strand not easily broken to stay out of that prison that arrests

For more of HIM move toward with trusting openness

HE will give the desires of your heart as a reward in being HIS invited guest becoming a part of HIS family into relational oneness with adoption’s kindness

You’re more than a conqueror in Christ whose blood for you outpoured for all of who you are with all your mess, a valuable treasure, HE did purchase

You’re worth not giving up on so wait on the LORD and implore for HIS help in your depression, press on…  press on…  no longer suppress what you want and need to express and confess;  all of you HE accepts

For HIM to renew strength on HIS eagle’s wings to soar above the darkness to bring HIS Light and Love to those below with HIS Presence offering that same forgiveness, acceptance, and healing’s essence

Hear HIS mighty roar resonance remembering HE fights your battles in the war uplifting you out of death’s sentence

The Good News is that you can be saved.

The Good News is the Gospel in which JESUS came from Heaven to earth to die for your sins in taking your place so you can be forgiven, accepted, adopted, and loved for all eternity…

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.  Romans 1:16

A)  Acknowledge that you are a sinner (not perfect, make mistakes, done wrong) and

accept that you need a Savior

B)  Bring your heart to God and believe that JESUS died on the cross for your sins in

taking your place and that God raised Him from the dead to be your best friend,

hero, rescuer, and Redeemer

C)  Come like a child and choose to place your trust and faith in JESUS

If you have already prayed to receive and trust in JESUS, then awesome!  Let me know.

Here is how you can pray if you need to do so now:

Dear God,

I am a sinner in need of a Savior.  I am in need of healing for my heart, mind, soul, body, and spirit.  I believe JESUS died for my sins and You raised Him back to life.  JESUS, I ask You for forgiveness for my past, present, and future sins and invite you to come into my heart to have new life you give to me.  I turn away from doing wrong. I need You.  I trust and have faith in You now and forevermore…  God give me the Holy Spirit to help me learn truth and to comfort me in times of need… In JESUS’ name, Amen.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  Romans 10:9

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.  Romans 10:10

As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”  Romans 10:11

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.  Revelation 5:9

Let me know if you have trusted in JESUS as your Savior so I can rejoice with you as a brother or sister adopted into God’s family forevermore…

Isn’t this amazing!

Which tribe, language, people, and/or nation do you represent?

Some know John 3:16, but what follows is not always remembered or noticed.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  John 3:17

God does not want to condemn people or sentence someone to a particular punishment, especially death.

His Son, sent into the world, died in your place instead.  JESUS was condemned to the cross:

  • taking your sin, shame, and guilt upon Himself
  • taking on God’s wrath, though it was for ours and other’s wrongs, upon Himself
  • defeating Satan and death to now hold the keys to Heaven and hell
  • making a way for you to be in right relationship with God the FATHER.

God wants to save the world “yes, even you” through JESUS.

to save you means= to forgive you, rescue you, accept you, adopt you, and love you for a lifetime and into eternity

As you choose to know Him more, trust Him completely, and believe Him fully;  you will experience that He is willing to heal you over time, restore you on time, refresh you in time, and redeem you for all time… all because you agree to walk with Him in a relationship…

for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  Romans 10:13

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  Romans 10:14

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”  Romans 10:15

You are worth new life

We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.  Romans 3:22 (New Living Translation)

You are worth new life despite your wrongs and mistakes

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,  Romans 3:23

You are worth new life because God chooses to accomplish this for you

and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:24

You are worth new life for He purchases you with HIS blood that was poured out to make you new, white as snow, and clean

God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood–to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished–Romans 3:25

You are worth new life because HE wants to give it to you, to show it to you, and to make it for you…  just because HE says so

he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. Romans 3:26
